She grew up in New England, USA (Burlington, VT and Dover and
Portsmouth, NH). Graduate of Castilleja Prep School, Palo Alto, CA.
Graduate of Barnard College/Columbia University with a Bachelor's
Degree in Theatre. Then for 2 yrs in NYC, studied Acting with Maggie
Flanigan at the William Esper Studios (Meisner),
Speech/Voice/Shakespeare with Shane Ann Younts, and Acting Movement and
Period Styles with Loyd Williamson at the Actors Movement Studio. Other
notable teachers in acting and singing (LA & NYC) include: Jeffrey
Tambor, Ivana Chubbuck, George DiCenzo, Gloria Gifford, Caryn West,
Elly Stone, Eric Vetro, Hillary Rollins and Bruce Kolb. She has written
many and produced three of her own plays (2 in NYC; 1 in Palo Alto,
CA). Her resume includes film, television, theatre, musical theatre and
cabaret. Her favorite hobby is entertaining, especially with her
family's player piano, and her dream hobby is to open her own
dinner/dancing club named after her first musical theatre solo song.
