He has appeared in Theater productions On-Broadway, Off-Broadway, Regionally, and Internationally. This includes performing in two original plays, "The Great White Hope", and "No Place To Be Somebody" that went on to win the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, and one, the original production of David Rabe's "Streamers" directed by Mike Nichols, that won "Best New American Play of The Year" by The New York Drama Critics Circle in 1976.
