Alfred Jarry was born on 8 September 1873 in Laval, Mayenne, France. He was a writer, known for UBU (2023), Ubu król (2003) and Král Ubu (1996). He died on 1 November 1907 in Paris, France.
His play, "King Ubu," was performed with Ladislav Fialka's plays, "The Clowns," and "The Fools," in a Theatre on the Balustrade Mime Group and Drama Group from the Czechoslovakia production at the Aldwych Theatre in London, England with Jan Libicek in the cast. Ladislav Fialka and Jan Grossman were directors.
