Gideon Jacobs
- Actor
- Music Department
- Additional Crew
Gideon Jacobs acted professionally from age 6-17. On sets, when adults asked him what he wanted be when he grew up, he never said "actor," always said "writer." Upon returning to New York City after college, he spent four years working at the photography cooperative Magnum Photos before quitting to write full time. He now contributes to The New Yorker, The New York Times, Artforum, The Paris Review, BOMB Magazine, The New York Review of Books, and others, although his main focus is fiction -- an in-progress short story collection and a novel. Gideon does not act anymore. He would be open to acting again in some capacity if the right project came along.
