Christophe Ivins, MFA, is a producer/director for the Department of the Air Force and an Air Force Reserve Public Affairs Officer, with over fifteen years of experience in motion picture production and post-production. He has worked on visual effects for many studio films, including six Academy Award winners, most notably Titanic, Avatar and Life of Pi. Christophe has shot and operated camera and Steadicam for productions such as Darren Aronofsky's Noah, Ups & Downs with Snoop Dogg, and the Academy Award winning West Bank Story, in locations as far away as Cambodia, India, Germany, glaciers of Alaska, and in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Hungary during deployment with NATO Peace Implementation Forces. He was fortunate to work with James Cameron, and train under Vilmos Zsigmond, ASC, known for cinematography of The Deer Hunter and Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Ivins is a member of the Visual Effects Society and the Society of Camera Operators, for which he has served on the Board of Governors.
