Fritz Imhoff got many role offers after the war too but the role types turned out more one-sided than the years before. Because of his chubby appearance one wanted to see him play constantly the same characters, which he endured patiently. Still his performances got attention time and again.

With his engagement at the Johann Strauss-Theater in Vienna he became a popular national actor and comedian.

His real film career only began in the 30's.

After a singing training he appeared as a singer at the Stadttheater Baden bei Wien in 1913.

His brother was the famous composer Ernst Arnold.
