Writer-Director-Actress Faleena Hopkins was raised in the California Bay Area. A stand-up comic for five years in Los Angeles, Faleena now acts and writes. She is a novelist with more than 40 published and over a million copies sold worldwide.
She wrote, helmed and starred in the movie "Just One More Kiss" which won Best Feature Film at BAFF (Big Apple Film Festival) and subsequently received a distribution deal in partnership with Lionsgate, launching in art-house theaters Feb. 20, 2020 just before the pandemic shut them down to solely online streaming.
She lives in Manhattan, the city featured in many of her fiction novels, and the location where "Just One More Kiss" was filmed.
