Rosie Holotik
- Actress
Rosie Holotik was a very fetching and charming redhead actress who
appeared in three enjoyably schlocky 70s drive-in horror exploitation
pictures during her regrettably fleeting career. Rosie achieved her
greatest enduring cult popularity with her substantial starring role as
nice young nurse "Charlotte Beale" in
S.F. Brownrigg's gloriously gonzo psycho
gem, Don't Look in the Basement (1973) (aka
"Don't Look in the Basement" (1973)). Holotik was also memorable as an
ill-fated hitchhiker in the shoddy fright anthology romp
Encounter with the Unknown (1972)
(aka "Encounter with the Unknown" (1974)) and was quite appealing as
the sweet "Robin Jones" in the delightfully cruddy teen revenge outing,
Horror High (1973) (aka "Twisted
Brain" (1974)). Rosie was featured on the cover of the April, 1972
issue of "Playboy" magazine. She now works as a real estate agent in
Dallas, Texas.
