Vera Hamburguer

Born in São Paulo, Brazil. Production designer , Art director, Curator, Researcher and Educator. Holds an under-graduate degree in architecture at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of São Paulo, Master in Performing Arts and PhD in Architecture at the same institution. Besides cinema, Vera also works on stages in theater, dance, opera and exhibitions. Member of AMPAS and ABC (Brazilian Association of Cinematography). Vera gathers awards from all her fields of activity. Has a trophy Jabuti (2015), one of the most important literary awards in Brazil for her work in "Arte em Cena: production design in Brazilian cinema", a book that focuses on the history of the profession in the country since its beginnings. She is also curator of the website about the life and work of the Brazilian architect, set designer, costume designer, visual artist and teacher Flávio Império.
