- Karel Gott was born on July 14, 1939 in Pilsen, Protectorate Bohemia and Moravia [now Plzen, Czech Republic]. He was an actor and composer, known for Bad Company (2002), Starci na chmelu (1964) and Three Wishes for Cinderella (1973). He was married to Ivana Gottová. He died on October 1, 2019 in Prague, Czech Republic.
