Ghoulies II 4K Uhd from Mvd

Ghoulies II will pop up on 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray on July 9 as part of Mvd’s 4K LaserVision Collection. The 1987 sequel has been has been newly restored in 4K from the original camera negative with Dolby Vision/Hdr and Lpcm 2.0 Stereo Audio.

Both the 90-minute theatrical and 91-minute unrated cuts are included, along with reversible artwork, a slipcover, and a mini poster.

Few franchises are as controversial as the feel-good Christmas family comedy "Home Alone." The first two films are widely beloved, bonafide staples of the American Christmas movie canon. Exclusive: Randall Park has been cast as a series regular and Spencer Garrett is set to recur opposite Uzo Aduba in Netflix’s Shondaland murder-mystery drama The Residence, from writer Paul William Davies.

Using Kate Andersen Brower’s book The Residence: Inside the Private World of the White House as a jumping off point, the eight-episode series is described as “a screwball whodunnit set in the upstairs, downstairs, and back stairs of the White House, among the eclectic staff of the world’s most famous mansion.” Its premise: 132 rooms. 157 suspects. One dead body. One wildly eccentric detective (Aduba). One disastrous State Dinner.

Park will play FBI Special Agent Edwin Park, and Garrett will recur as FBI Director Wally Glick.

Brendan Fraser is enjoying a long-overdue comeback thanks to his gut-wrenching performance in The Whale.

Though he's most famous for goofy roles and being beautiful in 1990s rom-coms, Fraser has an exceptional range that often gets overlooked, particularly as he has matured and taken on a wider variety of roles in diverse projects.

1. “The Baby-Sitters Club” Season 1 (available now)

Why Should I Watch? Netflix’s adaptation of Ann M. Martin’s ’90s era novels have been wooing plenty of viewers well-outside its young adult demographic — this critic included — without abandoning its most important fanbase. “The Baby-Sitters Club” is a rich, warm-hearted story about a group of middle-schoolers who band together, not only to make a little extra money and give themselves an excuse to hang out, but to provide a much-needed service for parents; the titular baby-sitters have an earnest yet relaxed investment in the kids they care for, and that same casually compassionate attitude buoys the series itself to lovable heights. Adult viewers may come for a pastel-dipped piece of nostalgia, but they — and younger audiences — will stick around for a savvy, inclusive, and rewarding update on “Bsc.”

All episodes of Interrogation, a true-crime series that spans two decades, drop at once, and it was the network's intent that you could watch the premiere and then any subsequent episode in any order followed by the finale.

My opinion on the matter differs, though, so I'll first share my thoughts on whether you should watch followed by my thoughts on how to watch.

True-crime events make a great segway to movies, television, and podcasts, and this interpretation of a real case is no different.

The premiere introduces us to Eric Fisher (Kyle Gallner), a rough-looking young man who, at the age of 17, finds himself at continual odds with his parents, Henry and Mary Fisher (David Strathairn and Joanna Going).

The Good Doctor‘s Shaun was an absolute wreck at the close of Monday’s fall finale — and it was Lea, not Carly, who was there to embrace him in his time of need.

In “Friends and Family,” Lea and Glassman accompanied Shaun on a trip to visit his estranged, ailing father Ethan (Battlestar Galactica vet Michael Trucco) and eventually chose to forgive him for his myriad shortcomings. Melora Walters’ “Drowning,” which has its world premiere at the Rome Film Festival, has debuted its first trailer. The film stars Oscar winner Mira Sorvino, Emmy winners Gil Bellows and Jay Mohr, and Walters, whose acting credits include “Magnolia,” Boogie Nights” and “Dead Poets Society.”

The film tells the story of a mother coming to terms with the emotions as her only son is deployed to war, and is inspired by Walters’ own experience.

The New York-based distributor anounced in Sundance it has acquired North American rights to Mark Pellington’s film starring Jon Hamm, Ellen Burstyn and Catherine Keener.

Kent Sanderson and Avy Eschenasy negotiated the deal for Bleecker Street with UTA Independent Film Group, CAA and Josh Braun of Submarine on behalf of the filmmakers.

Nostalgia explores the process of finding love and solace in the artefacts and memories people share with one another.

Rounding out the cast are Bruce Dern, Nick Offerman, Amber Tamblyn, John Ortiz, James LeGros, Patton Oswalt, Annalise Basso, Larry Wilmore and Joanna Going.

Alex Ross Perry wrote the screenplay based on an original idea he created with Pellington. Producers are Pellington, Tom Gorai and Braun, while Perry serves as executive producer.

Bleecker Street holds Us rights to Pellington’s The Last Word that gets its world premiere in Sundance on Tuesday and will open on March 3.

Nostalgia explores the process of finding love and solace in the artefacts and memories people share with one another.

Rounding out the cast are Bruce Dern, Nick Offerman, Amber Tamblyn, John Ortiz, James LeGros, Patton Oswalt, Annalise Basso, Larry Wilmore and Joanna Going.

Alex Ross Perry wrote the screenplay based on an original idea he created with Pellington. Producers are Pellington, Tom Gorai and Braun, while Perry serves as executive producer.

Extending its relationship with director Mark Pellington, Bleecker Street announced Sunday that it has acquired North American distribution rights to the filmmaker’s upcoming drama Nostalgia. The drama, currently airing season two on the At&T Audience Network, has been picked up for Season 3, the network announced on Thursday evening.

Created by Byron Balasco (who writes, executive produces and serves as showrunner), the series centers on the world of mixed martial artists.

The cast of Kingdom includes Nick Jonas, Frank Grillo, Kiele Sanchez, Matt Lauria, Jonathan Tucker, Joanna Going and Natalie Martinez.

It airs on Wednesday nights at 9/8c.

“The success of season 2 of Kingdom proves how captivating this series is and how viewers have invested and connected with the characters’ lives,” said Christopher Long, senior vice president, Original Content and Production, At&T, adding:

“Byron Balasco has been at the helm of this gritty mixed martial arts family drama since its inception and has showcased heart wrenching topics that no other show on television has had the strength to touch.

At&T Audience Network has ordered a third season of its acclaimed martial arts drama series "Kingdom".

One of my all time favorite actors happens to be John Cusack. Over the past decade or so, one of my newer favorites is Paul Dano. As such, the concept of the two of them in a film together pumped me up from the minute that they were cast in Love & Mercy.
