Ileana Ghione was born on 15 January 1931 in Cortemilia, Piedmont, Italy. She was an actress, known for Jane Eyre (1957), David Copperfield (1965) and Il crogiuolo (1971). She was married to Ezio Gagliardo and Christopher Axworthy. She died on 3 December 2005 in Rome, Lazio, Italy.

She died on stage in her own theater as she was playing the main role
in &quot;Ecuba&quot;.
