A new sneak peek at Grey’s Anatomy season 21 sees the return of Jesse Williams’ beloved Jackson Avery and tensions rising at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital after season 20’s dramatic finale.
In the clip, exclusively provided to People, fans get their first glimpse at Dr. Sydney Heron (Kali Rocha) and “all her passive-aggressive glory” since 2007, when she left the ABC medical drama.
In the 30-second glimpse at the upcoming season, Rocha’s Dr. Heron is seen speaking to the interns and telling them to think of her as one of them because she was previously a resident at the hospital. “Who’s ready to heal with love?” she says before hugging Chandra Wilson’s Dr. Miranda Bailey.
The teaser also reveals that Jesse Williams’ Dr. Jackson Avery will be returning for season 21 in some capacity — and his character does not seem thrilled with Ellen Pompeo’s Dr. Meredith Grey, following the events of the season 20 finale.

Based on a book series by author Karin Slaughter, the ABC series follows the story of Will Trent, a Special Agent in the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (Gbi) as he solves various crimes often murders with the help of his team.

So, if you are loving every episode of Season 2 here are the dates for Will Trent’s upcoming episodes.

Grey’s Anatomy has been renewed for its record-breaking 21st season. Although this may sound like good news, fans of the medical drama megahit are not happy. The fans feel as if the show has run its course and it is time for it to end. The stars of Grey’s Anatomy may feel the same way and it has been suggested the show start preparing for members of the cast to leave.
Shondaland Should Get Smaller
Fans of Grey’s Anatomy are over it. They no longer want the ABC medical drama, created by Shonda Wilson, to continue. Their reasons vary from fan to fan, but the consensus appears most of them will be willing to say to say goodbye to the show.
The debate about when Grey’s Anatomy “jumped the shark” has been up for debate for quite some time now. That debate is moot. The series has been renewed for another season.

Georgia Bureau of Investigation Special Agent Will Trent (Ramon Rodriguez) started Season 2 with a case that involved a flirtation with bomb tech Cricket Dawson (Susan Kelechi Watson), who later sacrificed her life to save him and others from a deadly explosion. The shocking loss stunned and saddened Trent, but as Rodriguez says, Will is able to “compartmentalize all the things that he’s dealing with in his life.” Looks like that will be a tough order this season, not just for Will but for his colleagues in the Atlanta-set crime show. Will’s top concern is figuring out his dad’s identity. Too bad the person who thinks he should be getting a Father’s Day card is serial killer James Ulster (Greg Germann), whom Will broke down and visited in prison at the end of the season premiere. “Will doesn’t want to interact with him much, but Ulster...

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for Will Trent, Season 2, Episode 1, “Me Llamo Will Trent.”] Will Trent is back after a tumultuous Season 1 finale. But is everything back to normal? It certainly seems to be, as Season 2 opens very much like the pilot episode, with the titular detective (Ramón Rodríguez) once again holding his doggie Betty with a relatively calm disposition. All this, despite the recent revelation of his long-lost mother and possible father, serial killer James Ulster (Greg Germann). However, newcomer and bomb expert Cricket’s (played by special guest Susan Kelechi Watson) admiration for Trent has them both distracted as they work together. They both agree to go out on a date, and things are looking up for Trent, as his disassociation, as pointed out by Ulster’s kidnapping victim and Will’s co-worker Angie (Erika Christensen), is seemingly paying off. That is until a serial bomber takes the life of Cricket, and all his grief ...

Calista Flockhart says the anorexia rumors that swirled around her during the heyday of Ally McBeal cast a pall over her experience on the show.
“I loved working on Ally McBeal, and it just made it sour,” the actress tells the New York Times in a wide-ranging profile. “I was very sleep-deprived and I was depressed about it. I did think that it was going to ruin my career. I didn’t think anybody would ever hire me again, because they would just assume I had anorexia, and that would be the end of that.

The Emmys were screwed.
Delayed by four months because of dual strikes that upended an entire industry for the better part of 2023, the 75th Primetime Emmys were, under the best of circumstances, going to be impossibly stale by the time they were presented in mid-January.
When they’re presented in September, the Emmys have the awards landscape in general and specifically the TV awards landscape entirely to themselves — the culmination of an artificially constructed TV calendar designed to give pride of place to the TV Academy and its annual distribution of shiny baubles.
But with this new schedule, one that will hopefully never be repeated, the Emmys were stuck as the third awards show honoring television in eight days. The Golden Globes, the Critics Choice Awards and now the Emmys — that’s three awards shows that have given an overwhelming haul of trophies to Netflix’s Beef, HBO’s Succession...

Four original Ally McBeal cast members, star Calista Flockhart as well as Greg Germann, Peter MacNicol and Gil Bellows, reunited Monday night during the Emmy broadcast on Fox more than 26 years after the debut of the legal dramedy, which aired on the network for five seasons, from September 1997 to May 2002.
The bit started with Flockhart washing her hands in a replica of the show’s famous unisex bathroom.
“I knew I drank too much water; I had to take my Spanx off, I had to put my dress back on,” Flockhart is heard “thinking” in a voiceover before she takes a look in the mirror and tells herself, “Girl, you look good.”
That is when there is a series of three toilet flushes, each followed by an Ally McBeal cast member, MacNicol, Bellows and Germann, coming out of a bathroom stall.

The Ally McBeal cast takes time to dance on 2023 Emmys and has quite a bit of fun doing so — to the point that host Anthony Anderson has to remind them why they’re there (to present an award). Calista Flockhart (Ally McBeal), Greg Germann (Richard Fish), Peter MacNicol (John Cage), and Gil Bellows (Billy Thomas) reunited where else but the bathroom set from the show. “I knew I drank too much water. I had to take my Spanx off. I had to put my dress back on,” Flockhart’s voiceover played as she looked in the mirror. “Woah, girl, you look good.” Then MacNicol, Germann, and Bellows all came out of the same stall to join Flockhart and dance, until Anderson reminded her she was there to give out an award. How could anyone blame them, though, when it was so clear how much fun they were having? It was short,...

You may have heard that the 75th edition of the Emmy Awards is finally happening on Monday, capping a nearly four-month delay resulting from the twin WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes. I think “Gunsmoke” and “The Andy Griffith Show” were still all the rage when this process began, JFK was President and a loaf of bread was a quarter. Alas, I exaggerate (though just a bit). But for this and no doubt other reasons, the TV Academy is clearly in a nostalgic mood, slating mini-reunions and tributes to and/or visual recreations of a dozen shows to mark the occasion.
The idea, according to the Emmy producers, is to honor television throughout the decades of its existence, from the 1950s (“I Love Lucy”), to the 1960s (“The Carol Burnett Show”), the 1970s (“All in the Family”), the 1980s (“Cheers”) and the 1990s (“Ally McBeal” and “Martin”) through the early 2000s.

The Television Academy has announced the full list of performers and presenters who will appear at the upcoming 75th Emmy Awards.
The show, which was originally supposed to air in 2023, will now take place on Monday night (January 15) at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.
The ceremony is going to air on Fox and will be broadcast live coast-to-coast. It will be available on Hulu the next day.
The executive producers of the show have teased that there will be “show-stopping cast reunions and tributes to hit television series spanning seven-plus decades.”
Host Anthony Anderson also revealed his unconventional plan for keeping things moving on Emmy night. Emmy Awards executive producers Jesse Collins, Dionne Harmon and Jeannae Rouzan-Clay have planned a ceremony that leans heavily on the history of TV, given the award’s diamond anniversary. Tributes and reunions will focus on decades from the 1950s to the present.

Time is a precious thing. We’re all at the mercy of its perpetual rhythm and are helpless against its march toward oblivion. Still, what if someone invented a device to help you change the past? What would you do if you could return to nearly a minute before you made a critical mistake? What’s to stop you from succeeding at everything you do? Can you resist the urge to undo every misstep along your life’s journey? Franklin Fausti is about to find out in the new 57 Seconds trailer.

"This is not about your sister, this is about power." Highland Film Group has revealed an official trailer for an intriguing indie sci-fi thriller film titled 57 Seconds, from a filmmaker named Rusty Cundieff. He has mostly done lots of TV work, and some strange genre films, but this is one of his first major feature films in years. Here's the logline pitch: When a tech blogger lands an interview with a tech guru and stops an attack on him, he finds a mysterious ring that takes him back 57 seconds into the past. The ring gimmick is a bit cheesy, and the script is a time travel concept to explore the idea of "going back and redoing things" until you get them right. Which seems to a big way for him to learn some lessons in this, along with realizing 57 seconds is not a long time... Josh Hutcherson co-stars with Morgan Freeman,...

Spoiler alert: Don’t read if you’re yet to see the “Grey’s Anatomy” fall finale.
“Grey’s Anatomy”s fall finale was not for the faint of heart. On Thursday’s episode, Dr. Meredith Grey’s (Ellen Pompeo) house went out in flames during a lightning storm, likely destroying the home she shared with her late husband, Dr. Derek Shepherd (Patrick Dempsey).
The devastating moment happened when lightning struck the house with Maggie (Kelly McCreary), Winston (Anthony HiIl) and Meredith’s kids inside.
“It’s just stuff,” Meredith told her kids, as they watched their belongings go up in flames. The only material item to make it through the fire was the Post-It note on which Meredith and Derek got married all those years ago.

The end is nigh for Kate and Tully.
Netflix on Wednesday unveiled the trailer for the second and final season of Firefly Lane.
If first impressions are everything, the two best friends at the core of the series have a lot to work through.
"What could possibly have ended the tight-knit thirty year friendship of Tully and Kate, our Firefly Lane Girls Forever?" the official logline teases.
"We'll learn the answer this season -- but first -- Kate grapples with the painful aftermath of Johnny's ill-fated trip to Iraq, while Tully faces a lawsuit after walking away from her talk show, and must start her career over from the bottom."
"This leads her to search for answers about who she is and where she comes from -- including a quest to find the father she never met, against the wishes of her secretive hippie mother, Cloud," it adds.

Kate and Tully’s personal lives are a bit of a mess in the new trailer for Firefly Lane‘s final season — but at least they’ve got each other, and as many pints of ice cream as Tully can comfortably carry.
In the preview embedded above, Sarah Chalke and Katherine Heigl’s BFFs navigate everything from new professional endeavors (Tully’s making a documentary!) to complicated romances (Kate and Johnny aren’t really over, right?). And it seems their long friendship with one another might hit a few snags, too, if the 1:40-ish mark of the trailer is any indication.

While many shows close the door when a character is written out, gone never means truly gone for ABC's Grey's Anatomy.
TV Line reports that Greg Germann is the latest star to return to the series.
Germann joined the series during its 14th season in a recurring capacity before being upped to series regular for seasons 16-17 before departing the show.
He guest-starred on Grey's Anatomy Season 18, and will return once again during Grey's Anatomy Season 19.
Germann was a fan-favorite during his time on the show, so it makes sense that he would return to the role of Dr. Tom Koracick.
The star will appear on the November 3rd installment, the same episode that also sees Jesse Williams return as Jackson Avery for one episode.

Grey’s Anatomy may be all about what’s new in Season 19, but it’s still remembering its past. Greg Germann will be returning as Dr. Tom Koracick for a guest spot in the episode airing on November 3, according to TVLine. That episode will also see Jesse Williams returning as Dr. Jackson Avery. (Williams will also be directing the episode.) They both initially left in the same Season 17 episode, both heading for Boston; Jackson took over the Catherine Fox Foundation, and Koracick went to work with him. Both have also been back since, with Koracick last seen as part of last season’s storyline involving Dr. Hamilton (Peter Gallagher). As for what brings Koracick back in November in “When I Get to the Border,” he “reaches out to Catherine (who is in Boston) regarding a personal matter,” according to the report. This comes as Dr. Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) will also...

It's official: season two of "Firefly Lane" is coming soon. The series follows two best friends named Tully (Katherine Heigl) and Kate (Sarah Chalke) and the ups and downs they've faced through the years. It's basically everything you love about soapy dramas like "Sweet Magnolias" and "Virgin River," with a twist of "This Is Us."
Unfortunately, the second season will be the series' last, Netflix revealed on Oct. 3. The final season will consist of a total of 16 episodes split into two parts.
Since the last episode of the first season ends on a major cliffhanger, we're already curious to know what will happen next. And given that it's based on Kristin Hannah's book series of the same name, there's plenty of inspiration to draw from. While there's no telling how closely the second season will follow the second book, "Fly Away," there are still plenty of storylines to explore in future episodes.
