New Sequels, Prequels, and Spin-Offs

Hailing from the great 'down under' Ros Gentle was born in a tiny country town called Gulgong in NSW, Australia. She studied music during her childhood but started her professional life working as a primary school teacher in Sydney while singing in folk clubs and wine bars at night. While studying acting to help with performance she discovered her true calling and went back to school. As a graduate of the National Institute for Dramatic Art (NIDA) Ros now has 40+ years of experience in all areas of the performing arts including coaching, producing and directing. Her theatre credits include Grey Nomads, The Sum of Us, Big River, The Wizard of Oz, All's Well That Ends Well, Othello, Bitter Sweet, The Seagull, Escape From Happiness and The Arab Israeli Cookbook along with four one-woman shows: The Bridal Suite, Face of an Angel, The Ladychapel and Still Life.

In Australia, Ros worked predominantly in television appearing in such shows as Picnic at Hanging Rock, Neighbours, Home and Away, GP, Mother and Son, A Country Practice, Land of Hope, Young Doctors, and The Restless Years to name a few. She is probably best remembered as one of the most outrageous characters ever to appear in the cult TV drama Prisoner (Cell Block H), playing multiple personality, Laura Gardiner, a shy librarian by day but a tough-talking prostitute, Brandy Carter, by night.

Residing in the US now for 30 years Ros has appeared most recently on television in The Young and the Restless, High Desert, Dahmer, American Horror Story, Our Flag Means Death, Wild West Chronicles as well as ACS: People Vs OJ Simpson, Lucifer, Agent X, and Hello Ladies. Upcoming films include Nightbitch with Amy Adams, Unsung Hero, and Bring Her to Me. Other films include Unborn, Of the Devil, Tomorrow's Game, Becoming Bond, and Suing the Devil with Malcolm McDowell.

While her love is acting, Ros' passion is helping to create a better world for future generations. She has been teaching Psychology of Performance at the New York Film Academy for the past 12 years.
