Her first 18 years were spent in different countries (Turkey, Italy,
Argentina, Chile and Peru). In Peru her debut as an actress was in the
film You Will Earn the Bread (1965), as
well learn speech and singing. Returning to Spain in 1967, she entered
the television landscape as a presenter, later in several comedies
directed by Pedro Lazaga and
vaudeville theater with "One night at home, ma'am," all with her first
stage name, Mary Francis, which she held until mid-70s.
