Son of Horton Foote and Lillian V. Foote.

Brother of Walter Foote, Hallie Foote and Daisy Foote.

Brother-in-law of Devon Abner and Tim Guinee.

Second oldest of playwright/novelist Horton Foote's children. Older sister Hallie Foote is also an actor.

Made his first professional appearances in films adapted from his father's works. Appeared with Hallie in 1918 (1985) and On Valentine's Day (1986), which ran briefly in theaters before being incorporated into a "Horton Foote trilogy."

In 2005 he stage directed a New York production of "Escape From Bellevue & Other Stories," a rock-n-roll odyssey music and monologue-driven multimedia production.
