Jonathan Finkelstein has created, written and produced more than 400 hours of international award-winning programs such as the animated series Interstellar Ella (2022) with Fabrique Fantastique, documentary series Sunny's Quest (2022) and Raven's Quest (2018) with TVOKids, drama series Big Top Academy (2018) with Cirque du Soleil, unscripted series Prank Patrol (2005), Rank the Prank (2016) with BBC Children's, Mystery Hunters (2002) (Discovery), reality competition series In Real Life (2009), science edutainment series Finding Stuff Out (2012), the Emmy-nominated educational series Look Kool (2015), and the Peabody Award winning documentary Braindamadj'd... Take II (2006), and many more.
He began his career as a journalist, reporting and producing for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation's local, regional, and national newscasts, before moving into entertainment and educational programs for children, beginning with producing the popular CBC weekly consumer show for teens, Street Cents (1989).
