Since 1998 is the first experimenter of digital camera techniques applied to the language of Cinema and Light. It'been a pupil of Vittorio Storaro and collaborated among others with: Giuseppe Bertolucci, Bernardo Bertolucci, Marco Bellocchio, Daniele Segre, Carmine Amoroso, Mimmo Calopresti, Marco Simon Puccioni, Massimo Martella, Daniele Costantini, Gianfranco Pannone, Marco Carniti, Simone Catania, Michele Fornasero, Michele Pennetta.
His filmography includes more than 60 documentaries and feature films for the cinema including: "What do you looking for" (first digital Italian film - best cinematography at the Lecce European Film Festival) "Cover boy , the last revolution" (best cinematography at the film festival Valencia-Spain) "Facts of the band of Magliana" (A.I.C. award best cinematography) "Sleeping around" (best cinematography at the independent spirit film festival of Ibiza) "Smokings" (audience award at the NYON "cinema Du Reel").
From 2013 he founded with Carmine Amoroso and Patrizia Zoratti independent production Zutfilm that produces a first documentary film directed by Carmine Amoroso titled "Porno & libertà" aka "Porn to be free" (Silver Ribbon best Documentary 2017, selected at the 2016 Rotterdam Film Festival and distributed in over 30 countries worldwide). In 2018 "Happy winter" film documentary debut by Giovanni Totaro (in the official selection of Venice 74- out of competition) and "Drive me home" by Simone Catania (best cinematography at the Young Cinema Award 2020).
In 2021 "Il mio corpo" by Michele Pennetta wins the best cinematography and artistic achievement at SIMA - Los Angeles, and is selected at the prestigious festival of cinematographers Cameraimage 2020.
