Nick is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Garden State Film
Festival and also serves as the Festival's Chairman of the Programming
Committee.
Nick's long association with the arts has included working for the legendary Broadway director / producer Harold Prince, Broadway and film production company The Producer Circle Co. (headed by Oscar winner producer Martin Richards "Chicago") and international opera stage director Anthony Stivanello. Nick was the assistant stage manager for the world premiere of "Far Out: The New Sci-fi Musical" presented off-Broadway at the 2009 New Your International Fringe Festival, and was the associate producer and production manager on several industrials for Richard Quinn Productions in California.
Nick had a long association with the Metro Lyric Opera of New Jersey, performing as well as working behind the scenes, and he has stage-managed, assistant stage-managed or worked on crews for many theatrical productions and as part of various performing arts series. He studied voice the renowned Italian tenor Giovanni Consiglio and English Basso Raymond Buckingham.
Nick received his B.A. in Theatre Arts from Rutgers University, and his JD from Seton Hall University School of Law. Nick is a contributing author to Goldstein and Goodman, New Jersey Practice, Vol. 18 Employment Law (Thomas/West, Second Ed. 2005), the leading treatise on employment law in New Jersey.
