Hans-Eckart Eckhardt(1953-2021)

Hans-Eckart Eckhardt, son of an us civil servant out of Dallas, Texas
and a Swabien housewife started as stage actor in 1976 but soon became
involved in Germany's film and TV business, co-starring Rainer Werner
Fassbinder in "Kamikaze 89" in 1982. One year later he started working
with director Hans Neuenfels, both on stage and on set, shooting
"Heinrich Penthesilea von Kleist" in 1983 and "Die Familie oder
Schroffenstein" in 1984. While working as early-morning anchorman for
Berlin's radio station SFB, his voice became known nationwide, when he
did booth announcing for "Wheel of fortune" in Germany. Meanwhile Hans
is focused on his film & TV career on an international basis. He
recently worked with Florian Gallenberger, Nicolas Alcala,Tarsem
Singh,Farhan Akhtar and Ron Howard.
