Bob started out as a DJ as well as a radio show producer at CJOR
Vancouver in the late 1970s. He worked weekend mornings at country
music station CJJC Langley 1977-78.
He was perhaps best known as the distinctive voice of Santa Claus on the Rafe Mair show, which ran on CKNW Vancouver, where he took calls from the children at Christmas for many years.
Bob was the promotions manager at CKXY Radio Vancouver in the late 1980s.
He appeared in many of the Hollywood North produced TV series of the day, such as X-Files, Millenium, Stargate, Cold Squad and Call of the Wild.
Bob passed away in Vancouver November 7, 2001 at age 43
