Tammy Davis is one of New Zealand's most loved stars, best known for his signature role as Munter in the hit comedy-drama series Outrageous Fortune. His prolific acting career has seen him star in some of New Zealand's most significant pictures including the critically acclaimed drama Whale Rider, along with major roles in What Becomes of the Broken Hearted and horror-comedy Black Sheep. Tammy has also appeared in Taika Waititi's short film Tama Tu, iconic Kiwi soap Shortland Street, Australian drama series Top of the Lake, Kiwi coming-of-age The Eggplant and most recently one of his career best performance as Chomp in Shortland Street: Retribution.
Tammy is not just an actor, he's also an accomplished director, writer and broadcaster, making his directing debut with the 2015 film Born to Dance and co-host of George FM's Breakfast Show.
