The unpredictability with this filmmaker-actor is that he has got plenty of projects stoking the fire and we never know which item might push forth next. Prolific, inexhaustible, enervating and stoic with literature’s greats, James Franco‘s selected career path merits its own NYC course of its own. Franco could probably fit it in his schedule and teach it. After tending to the rabbits on Broadways’ Of Mice and Men, it’s Steinbeck follow in the footsteps of Cormac McCarthy and William Faulkner as book to film interests. Production began on In Dubious Battle at the beginning of the year. Mostly shot in Atlanta, this amassed a crew of players comprised of Analeigh Tipton, Josh Hutcherson, Selena Gomez, Bryan Cranston, Vincent D’Onofrio, Ashley Greene, Nat Wolff, Ed Harris, Duvall, Zach Braff, Austin Stowell, Keegan Allen, Darin Cooper, Ahna O’Reilly, John Savage, Beth Grant, Scott Haze and of course Franco himself.

Up until The Social Network (2010), when a version of this article first appeared, David Fincher was, moderately, a creature of habit when it came to casting. Certain character actors would pop up in miniature roles in more than one film though only one star was a recurring lead (Brad Pitt). Since then it's been more of a free for all with (mostly) new faces in his films.
For Gone Girl it's all new faces but for three men who you'll miss if you blink:
Darin Cooper, Brett Leigh, and Lee Norris
Brett Leigh appears as a nervous intern (he was previously a Phoenix Club hazer in The Social Network); Lee Norris, best known for "One Tree Hill" and "Boy Meets World," shows up as "Officer Washington" after a gig in Zodiac; and Darin Cooper, who played one of Facebook's lawyers in The Social Network, returns as "Moustached Man"

*there are spoilers here. Director: Jared Cohn. Writers: Geoff Meed and Kenny Zinn. Cast: Katrina Bowden, Randy Wayne, Erin Marie Hogan, Steve Hanks, Brad Slaughter, Seth Cassell, Darin Cooper, Jordan Pratt-Thatcher and Lisa Younger. Hold Your Breath, or for those in the Twitterverse #HoldYourBreath, is remarkable for being one of the first films to premiere in theatres from production company The Asylum. As a horror film, Hold Your Breath is not truly remarkable in itself. However, the film is still a fun watch, despite some moronic characters. Is having sex in a morgue really a good idea? The film's ending stands out for offering some interesting suspense, while the film's supernatural rules ground the film in a dramatic reality. Hold Your Breath is a popcorn movie that will entertain most horror fans. The story begins with seven characters heading out on the proverbial camping trip. Johnny (Randy Wayne), Jerry (Katrina Bowden...

While it may be hard to believe that Air Collision is the best Asylum film yet in the entire history of Asylum films, you should really take my word for it.
Sporting a multi-ethnic, and large, ensemble cast involving actors playing scientists, Faa agents, commercial airplane pilots, marines, The President, The First Lady and First Daughter, and people running from falling satellites combined with some pretty good computer graphic effects of said satellites falling and airplanes ramming into buildings, Air Collision certainly *feels* like The Asylum shelled out about ten grand more than they usually do for their monster films.

The disaster thriller Air Collision will have a nationwide DVD release and arrive on Video-on-demand March 27th. Released by Asylum Home Entertainment, this film is set to deliver a treasure trove of terror in the skies and screams of panic on the ground. This science fiction based experience from “Best Director” Liz Adams (“Side Effect”) is going to mortify those afraid of flying and create a fear of flying in those who are not.
This movie features Reginald VelJohnson, Jordan Ladd, Gerald Webb, Darin Cooper, Darren Anthony Thomas, Kevin Yarbrough and Dave Vescio. While some are trying to avoid a collision course with fate, others are only going to panic the passengers even more. First Officer Aoki (Webb) is trying to save the day while Eli Reyher (Vescio) is trying to ruin it.
Disaster films have excited audiences since the silent film era when Night and Ice (1912) showed the sinking of the Titanic.
