Jan Ciecierski(1899-1987)

Jan Ciecierski was a renowned Polish actor and theater director. He studied law at the University of Warsaw until 1924, then transferred to the Dramatic Department at the Warsaw Conservatory, graduating in 1927. His career spanned various theaters, including the Polish Theater in Katowice, Ateneum in Warsaw, and the National Theater in Warsaw. He also taught at the Actor's Studio at the Old Theater in Krakow. Ciecierski gained popularity as Józef Matysiak in the radio novel "Matysiakowie". In addition to his radio work, Ciecierski had a diverse acting career in both theater and film.
