Élie Chouraqui was born on 3 July 1950 in Paris, France. He is a director and writer, known for Harrison's Flowers (2000), Qu'est-ce qui fait courir David? (1982) and Les menteurs (1996).

Has three children : C&amp;eacute;sar, Margaux and Sarah.

He&#39;s the director of two musicals in France : &quot;Les Dix Commandements&quot;
(2000) and &quot;Spartacus le gladiateur&quot; (2004).
