István Bujtor was born on 5 May 1942 in Budapest, Hungary. He was an actor and producer, known for A három testör Afrikában (1996), Hamis a baba (1991) and Az elvarázsolt dollár (1986). He was married to Bujtor, Judit and Perényi, Eszter. He died on 25 September 2009 in Budapest, Hungary.

Stepbrother of <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/name/nm0490254/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">Zoltán Latinovits</a>.

Brother of <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/name/nm0293831/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">Károly Frenreisz</a>, the composer.

As a young man, he played basketball professionally.
