In a career spanning more than 25 years, Daniel Boissevain proved himself as one of the most versatile Dutch actors. On stage, in drama as well as in musical, in films and TV-series. He first came to attention with All Stars, the film and TV-series about a football team. He looked swell as an airline pilot in Gooische Vrouwen, the very popular TV-series and film. He got a chance to show his rough edge and singing talent as Herman Brood, Hollands only real rock 'n' roll star, in the musical Wild Romance. It earned him critical appraisal and several awards.
Daniel was born into a family of artists and grew up performing. He graduated from the Theatre Academy in Amsterdam with his own company. He started to play demanding parts on stage, in the musicals Doe Maar, Brandende Liefde, When Harry Met Sally and The Broken Circle Breakdown. He played leads and supporting roles in many films, such as Lek, All Stars 2: Old Stars, and Alberta. He appeared in numerous TV-series such as Vlucht HS13 and made an impressive appearance as Judas Iscariot in the TV-play The Passion.
