- Jason Barr was raised in the small Ontario city of Cambridge. His father is a successful businessman and his mother a very popular newspaper columnist and TV personality. Jason started as a print model at the age of six and won his first acting audition during the same year with Al Waxman and Missing Treasures, the popular Global Television Series. From there Jason was cast in the Television series Due South (1994) with Paul Gross; The Howie Mandel Show and Kids in the Hall: Brain Candy (1996). Jason is currently enrolled in the Integrated Arts Program at Eastwood in Kitchener, Ontario.
