Singer, songwriter and radio actor who had a secondary screen career under contract to Warner Brothers from the early 1940s, appearing primarily in westerns. Between 1952 and 1957, was regularly featured on NBC TV's "Your Hit Parade".
Enlisted as a private in the U.S. Army on 3 March 1942 during World War II.
