- Domiziano Arcangeli was set to star as Giovanni in the period drama La sposa di San Paolo (1990) directed by Gabriella Rosaleva in the Fall of 1989, which opened at the Locarno Film Festival on 1st August 1990, but the actor, who had also invested in the project, and had worked in all pre-production phases as an associate producer and casting consultant, had to drop out suddenly when the shoot was about to begin due to a serious form of pneumonia, with high fevers and extreme dehydration for which he was hospitalized for 4 weeks and recovered within a period of 4 months off work. Production on the movie was then delayed by 2 weeks and, when the studio's doctors declared Arcangeli unavailable to work for at least 3 months, he was replaced at the last moment by colleague Dario Parisini, who took on the role.
- Domiziano Arcangeli played one of the lead roles in Rai Radio Italian Television's production of "Teresa Di Neera" from the controversial novel by Anna Zuccari, written in 1886, directed and adapted by Gabriella Rosaleva, recorded in 1996 as a radio play in 13 episodes for Radio RAI 3, and, also starring famed Italian actress Milena Vukotic and with Turi Ferro, Duilio Del Prete, Massimo De Francovich, among others.
- Domiziano Arcangeli won Best Actor at the United International Film Festival (UIFF) for the role of Fosco in the Empire Films' gothic horror feature presentation Orgy of the Damned (2010) on March 6th, 2016. - Arcangeli was discovered by photographer Helmut Newton who noticed him by chance in 1979 in Venice (Italy) where Arcangeli used to live. Newton eventually brought Arcangeli to Berlin (Germany) for a series of photo shoots, which gained controversy for the age of the model. Nonetheless some of those very artistic pictures made the covers of many publications worldwide.
- Arcangeli has 2 sons - fraternal twins, Skyler and Thor-Lyndon, born on 11-11-11, in Atlanta, Georgia. The mother, an American model of Swedish and Scottish heritage, prefers to remain unknown. Arcangeli's grandfather was born, by an interesting coincidence, on 11-11-1911.
