- Eddie Linden was featured in season 2 episode 4 of the PBS series "History Detectives" in a segment called "King Kong Camera" in which a viewer believes he owns the Mitchell Standard camera Linden used to film the original "King Kong" in 1933. The story features an appearance by stop motion pioneer Ray Harryhausen.
