Model and actress Brande Roderick was a Playboy Playmate, played Leigh Dyer on the Baywatch TV series, and competed on a couple seasons of The Apprentice. Now she has made her feature directorial debut with the horror film Wineville, which she also stars in, and while making the movie she was drawing inspirations from ’70s genre classics like The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and The Last House on the Left.

Dark Star Pictures has picked up the North American rights to Brande Roderick’s directorial debut, Wineville, a horror film set for a September 2024 release.

The Celebrity Apprentice contestant also stars in the 1970s-set thriller as Tess Lott, a woman who escaped her abusive father as a teen. Now she returns as a single mother to her family’s vineyard after her father’s death to sort out her inheritance, only to discover the dark secrets and painful memories she left behind return as a murderous legacy sparking violence and death.

Roderick’s acting credits include The Nannie Diaries, Starsky & Hutch and Baywatch.

The ensemble cast for Wineville includes Carolyn Hennesy, Texas Battle, Casey King and Keaton Roderick Cadrez. The film was written by Richard Schenkman (Mischief Night, Abraham Lincoln vs. Zombies, The Man from Earth), who also produced alongside Roderick, Robin DeMartino and Todd Slater.

UFC fighter Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone stars in the upcoming zombie film Project Legion, which is set to receive a theatrical release on October 7th, with an Apple TV release following just four days later on October 11th. NBC's 'All-Star Celebrity Apprentice' season finale selects Trace Adkins as the winner. The two-hour extravaganza saw Trace Adkins and Penn Jillette face off in what can only be described as one of the weirdest Celebrity Apprentice seasons ever. Trace Adkins raised more money than Jillette, but the bottom line is Trump obviously likes him more, and the tall showman from Vegas was sent packing. The finale saw Brande Roderick in some big ass shoulder pads, Tim Tebow, Dee Snyderand Omarosa, who were all there to send up the ending of this series, Tebow was Adkins ace in the hole. Celebrity Apprentice 2013 eliminated Gary Busey in episode 9 tonight. Tonight's show kicked off with conversation footage. Lil John was upset that his original partner,Brande Roderick, got fired,and some other useless chit chatting went down. Then Trump revealed to the new task to the celebs. They had to write, produce ,and direct a demonstrational video to highlight LG's Smart Home and Home Entertainment systems. They were judged on product knowledge,presentation,and whatever else they could come up with. The winning project manager, won $40,000 for their charity with an option of getting an extra $35,000,depending on how many shares they got for their Facebook page. Past champion,Joan Rivers, and Ivanka Trump were the advisers for this episode. Lil John took over project manager duties for Team Power. And unfortunately,it was Gary's turn at bat again to be project manager for Team Plan B. Next, they showed prep footage for the two teams.

So far this season on All-Star Celebrity Apprentice, there have been quite a few at least semi-qualified celebrities fired. Bret Michaels, a former Celebrity Apprentice champ was fired as a result of Omarosa's manipulation. Capable celebs like Dee Snider and, surprisingly enough, Brande Roderick fell victim to being Project Managers at the wrong time that resulted in their termination.

"Celebrity Apprentice" saw the return of Bret Michaels and he certainly riled the other "All-Star" contestants.

Michaels, who was fired during the first episode of "All-Star Celebrity Apprentice," returned as a judge alongside Donald Trump and when he called for contestant Brande Roderick to be fired, it didn't sit well with her teammates Marilu Henner and Trace Adkins.

"Give her some money,” Adkins said to Trump and Michaels.

Trump complied and in addition to her "All-Star Celebrity Apprentice" pink slip, handed Roderick $20,000 for Promises 2 Kids, the organization she was playing for.

But a major boardroom shocker saves Lady O for the fourth week in a row! Is she untouchable?

With Latoya Jackson out of her way, Omarosa thought she’d shaken off the last of her enemies, but she underestimated Claudia Jordan, who was out for blood on the March 24 episode of All-Star Celebrity Apprentice. The former Deal or No Deal model didn’t hesitate to throw Lady O under the bus after her team lost this week’s challenge — which, ironically, was to use a truck to create a marketing campaign for Farouk Systems Products. (Truck, bus, whatever.)

The executives loved Claudia’s team’s slogan — a joint effort by Lil Jon and Brande Roderick — but not enough to secure them a victory. In fact, the Farouk executives overwhelmingly preferred Marilu Henner‘s team’s truck, netting her a minimum of $50,000 for the Alzheimer’s Association.

It was an all-out war on "All-Star Celebrity Apprentice" between La Toya Jackson and Omarosa. The two women even continued their feud into the boardroom, where Jackson made a rather unorthodox request.

"I am the project manager. Can you give me the liberty and the opportunity, for the first time, to fire somebody on my team?" she asked Donald Trump.

Of course, he wasn't going to do that. As Omarosa said, "He's the boss."

So why, then, when it came time for Jackson to choose who to bring with her into the boardroom for the elimination did she not bring Omarosa? That would have given Trump the chance to fire her, and he might have. Omarosa was demanding about what she was going to do, demanded a starring role in the soap opera they had to create, and then ditched her team; barely showing up in time for the performance.

On Sunday's (March 17) episode of "All-Star Celebrity Apprentice," La Toya Jackson and Stephen Baldwin were project managers as each team put on a live soap opera to promote Crystal Light Liquid. La Toya's team failed to impress the brand executives, so Stephen's team won $50,000 for Carol Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund.

La Toya's teammate Omarosa Manigault came under fire in the boardroom by the entire rest of the crew for not actually participating in the challenge. She explains to Arsenio Hall, who is filling in for Piers Morgan, that she had to go handle a situation with the media airing a 911 call from her late fiance, Michael Clarke Duncan. Omarosa shed a lot of tears -- oddly, they were invisible tears, despite all her dramatic sobbing -- as she explains (again and again ... and again), "I will never choose a soap opera over Michael."

Just when you thought All-Star Celebrity Apprentice couldn’t get any more dramatic, Donald Trump literally forced his contestants to move their competition onto a live stage, with Latoya Jackson and Stephen Baldwin leading the two teams. Needless to say, not everyone was deserving of an encore.

The drama began immediately for Latoya’s team, as Omarosa left after one day for a “family emergency.” As it turns out, Michael Clarke Duncan‘s 9-1-1 call — which captured the final moments of Omarosa’s fiancé’s life — was going to be aired on national television, and she had apparently worked very hard not to get that released to the public.

Fourteen of Donald Trump‘s best and brightest stars, including season-nine winner Bret Michaels, returned for another round of boardroom drama on the March 3 premiere of The All-Star Celebrity Apprentice. And even though both teams clashed — with each other and among themselves — there was one thing every contestant could agree on: Gary Busey is out of his damn mind.

Rather than Donald Trump pitting the men against the women — wait, you didn’t know he was sexist? — the Donald appointed Trace Adkins and Bret as team captains. But since he couldn’t go the episode without being at least a little bit misogynistic, the Donald forced his celebrities to sell balls. Meatballs, that is.

Omarosa may have been on Bret’s team, but she wasted no time declaring her intention to take him down.

What’s the only thing more ridiculous than Celebrity Apprentice? Why, All-Star Celebrity Apprentice, of course! And I mean that as a compliment of the highest order. But one of those all-star celebrities was fired in tonight’s premiere. A dozen of the 14 returning competitors on "All-Star Celebrity Apprentice" follow Donald Trump onto the top level of a double-decker bus at Rockefeller Center Friday.

At a little after 8 a.m., and Dennis Rodman looks less than happy, Gary Busey less than awake, but Lisa Rinna and Marilu Henner are all smiles. Zap2it was one of two sites allowed on the bus as it snaked around Manhattan, caused mini flash mobs, where everyone on the street had their cameras pointed up, and were cheering.

It was a vey odd morning.

Now it’s NBC‘s turn to try: The network announced today that its upcoming Season 6 of the Donald Trump-hosted Celebrity Apprentice will also feature returning contestants, including previous winner Bret Michaels and original cast member Omarosa. The series, which on Monday starts shooting this new season for a March 2013 premiere, announced its slate of 14 contenders Friday morning.
