When the opening scene ended with a pretty cool and gory death, in what was a traditional but fun slasher film build-up, my hopes were kind of high. It feels like we have had very few new slasher movie villains to get excited about. Of course, Michael Myers, Chucky, Ghostface and more are still going strong but other than Art the Clown in the Terrifier franchise, no one seems to have lasted for more than one movie in more recent times. So when Randy Couture is standing tall as Hank, giant axe in hand, things were looking up. But the movie doesn’t quite pan out the way I was expecting.
The Bell Keeper follows a group of friends, including two brothers, who travel to a campsite at Lake Bell.

Goldberg Is Not Interested In Joining Aew ( Photo Credit – Instagram; IMDb )
William Scott Goldberg, aka Goldberg, is a household name, and almost every 90s kid who loved watching pro wrestling was his fan at one point. Now, the former WWE Universal Champion is free to go anywhere and isn’t associated with any promotion. Amid this, the veteran recently addressed the rumors about joining Aew by using some really brutal words. Keep reading to know more!
The 57-year-old has been associated with WWE for most of his career. Right from the start, he was projected as an unbeatable force and a dominant force inside the ring. His macho persona and no-nonsense attitude earned him millions of fans throughout the globe, and over the years, the same flavor was maintained for his character. Yes, there have been instances where fans witnessed ring rust, but one can’t deny that the superstar is still a big draw.

John Cena certainly isn't the first wrestler to become a movie star. Hulk Hogan, Jesse Ventura, and Andre the Giant brought their muscles to the big screen decades ago. The late '90s and early 2000s saw Bill Goldberg and Dwayne Johnson enter the fray, with the latter becoming one of the biggest stars in Hollywood, and he's still going strong. But it wouldn't be until the likes of Dave Bautista and John Cena that we'd get a pair of wrestlers who truly stepped into the world of acting without relying mostly on their muscular presence to do the heavy lifting on the big screen for them, both literally and figuratively.
Dave Bautista has proven to be a reliable supporting star in the superhero blockbuster franchise "Guardians of the Galaxy," but he's also delivered more haunting turns in the likes of "Blade Runner 2049," "Dune," and M. Night Shyamalan's "Knock at the Cabin.

Looney Tunes is not leaving Max after all. The streamer had released a list that included the classic cartoons leaving the platform in December.
Max has since revised their “What’s New on Max This December” press release.
“Looney Tunes was included in error as a title leaving the platform,” read the statement clarifying the status of the classic shorts. “This is not the case and the show will continue streaming on Max.”
An outcry from fans of the show followed on social media after believing Bugs Bunny and his friends would not live on the streaming platform anymore.
The error comes a couple weeks after Wbd announced it would be scrapping the already-completed Coyote Vs. Acme for a tax writeoff. The David Zaslav-run company reconsidered the decision after fan backlash and set up screenings for streamers who might want to buy it.
However, it’s not all good...

The series' penultimate episode did its job, but not much more.
NCIS: Los Angeles Season 14 Episode 20 was a placeholder, in between Callen gaining needed revelations about his Drona Project past on NCIS: Los Angeles Season 14 Episode 19 and the series conclusion.
A placeholder before the Callen-Anna wedding. That's appropriate, right?
To remember that NCIS: Los Angeles is a procedural, there had to be one last case with a name guest star, in this case, mixed-martial arts star Randy Couture.
Couture has been making a name as an action actor over the past two decades (and let's not forget Dancing With the Stars). But this was his first visit to the NCIS universe.
Hey, how about this as a spin-off? NCIS: Chokehold, starring Couture and Bill Goldberg. Fill out the cast with a diverse handful of lesser-known actors and bring in Hulk Hogan as the squad's wily leader.

Amazon is giving gearheads a new reason to check out its free streaming service, because on Thursday, it was announced that Speedvision, has joined the platform as a free ad-supported streaming TV (Fast) channel in the United States. Freevee customers now can stream titles from Speedvision’s extensive library of car-fueled entertainment.

After launching the car-enthusiast market decades ago, Speedvision returned in October 2022 with the same type of high-octane programming that it originally built its name on n the ’90s. The channel delivers a combination of entertaining storytelling, iconic hosts, and premier production values, that have allowed it to become the preeminent destination for auto-passionate viewers.

When the trailer for Violent Night hit, people were excited to check out this new Christmas action film. They were excited by the idea of setting an action film during the holiday season. While that’s great, it’s not a new concept. There have been some great action holiday movies for decades. No, we’re not talking about Jingle All The Way. It’s always a great time to drink some hot chocolate and watch some stuff blow up or someone gets punched in the face while Christmas lights twinkle in the background.
Santa’s Slay (2005)
This one could fall into more of a horror category, but the action is what makes it the most fun. If the opening scene doesn’t get you excited, then you obviously don’t love Christmas. Hall Of Fame wrestler Bill Goldberg plays Santa like you’ve never seen him.

The new episode of our The Black Sheep video series doubles as a Christmas viewing recommendation, as we’re taking a look back at the 2005 horror comedy slasher Santa’s Slay (watch it Here) – which stars professional wrestler Bill Goldberg as a very unpleasant Santa Claus. To find out all about the movie and why we think it deserves to be seen by more genre fans, check out the video embedded above!
Written and directed by David Steiman, Santa’s Slay has the following synopsis: It turns out that Santa Claus is not really the sweet old fellow that we all know and love. In fact, he’s a devil and the only thing that’s kept his bad side in check was a bet he lost with an angel. After 1000 years of playing nice, the bet is up and Santa is about to open up a can of Whoop-Ass! The only...

Nine years after it disappeared from cable TV channel lineups, Speedvision is preparing to rev up its engines again.
The cable channel — which catered to automotive enthusiasts and racing fans from its launch in 1995 until Fox shut it down in 2013 — is being revived as a free ad-supported streaming network (the acronym being, appropriately, a Fast platform), with some high-profile backing.
Among the backers of the new Speedvision are Robert Scanlon, a co-founder of the original cable channel who most recently oversaw the Velocity and Motor Trend businesses for Discovery Inc.; Joe Abbruzzese, who was previously the president of advertising sales for Discovery; wrestling superstar Bill Goldberg; and automotive and racing magnate Rick Hendrick.
Scanlon will serve as the company’s president, while Abbruzzese will advise on ad sales and sponsorships. Goldberg is expected to appear as talent in some of the network’s programming.

Earlier this summer, we got wind about a new Christmas action movie starring Dwayne Johnson called "Red One," which was described as "Hobbs and Shaw" meets "Miracle on 34th Street." Do I know what that means? No. Am I excited about it anyway? Abso-freaking-lutely. Why? Because I am a wrestling mark who will watch Dwayne Johnson do anything his heart desires, especially a Christmas movie. Christmas movies are no strangers to wrestlers, with some of the best examples being Bill Goldberg as the slasher Santa in "Santa's Slay," Paul "Big Show" Wight's cameo as the hulking, muscular mall...

WWE is “looking into” Candy Cartwright’s accusation that Matt Riddle choked her in a car and pressured her into oral sex in 2018. A person with knowledge of the pro-wrestling company’s booking plans told TheWrap that WWE is not pulling Riddle from his “Friday Night SmackDown” debut on Fox this evening.
Tonight’s “SmackDown,” and thus Riddle’s debut, was pre-taped, a second person with knowledge of the plan told us.
“We take any allegation of this nature very seriously and are looking into the matter,” WWE initially said in a statement to TheWrap.
Hours later, the company sent us this: “Individuals are responsible for their own personal actions. WWE has zero tolerance for matters involving domestic violence, child abuse and sexual assault. Upon arrest for such misconduct, a WWE talent will be immediately suspended. Upon conviction for such misconduct, a WWE talent will be immediately terminated. WWE’s ability to fine,...

Mark Calloway’s career as the Undertaker has mostly been a three-part saga. For the first third, he was more than a little limited in the ring, but had an aura, gimmick, and writing that made him the star of a sideshow act. In the second third, he was truly hitting his stride and finally caught up to his top guy status by having years of fantastic matches. Then he started slowing down and only appeared sporadically, which was fine for a few years, but then it became obvious that he was too worn down from time and his many battles in the ring.
WrestleMania 36 had Undertaker ride off with dignity as the pre-taped setup of the show allowed him to face Aj Styles in a Boneyard Match. It was less of a wrestling match and more of a lengthy fight scene you’d see in a straight-to-dvd B-movie, but...

Yes, that 53-year-old Bill Goldberg ...
Bray Wyatt had been one of the hottest characters in WWE. At the very least, he was one of the most interesting and over characters on WWE television.
On Thursday in Saudi Arabia at WWE Super Showdown, Wyatt lost the WWE Universal Championship in less than three minutes to Goldberg. Yes, that Goldberg. The 53-year-old, gray-bearded former world champion who was mocked as "Old-Berg" on social media by most of the snarky wrestling crowd.
Wyatt losing the title isn't so much the issue. He's an attraction, and quite frankly he's better off without the regularity that the top title on SmackDown brings. The issue is the way Wyatt lost the match, and who he lost the match to. Goldberg, who clearly can't wrestle a match of any length at this point in his career, taking down Wyatt in less than three minutes...

Yowie wowie: Goldberg has defeated “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt at “Super ShowDown” Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, becoming the new WWE Universal Champion in the process. Guess how well that creative decision went over with fans?
Yes, say goodbye to that unbeaten streak and the immortal aura assigned to Wyatt’s demonic alter-ego. The push was nice while it lasted.
Goldberg’s shocking win, which required roughly three minutes of in-ring work, took four spears and one (kinda-sorta) jackhammer to get the job done. Along the way, the “Longest Yard” actor fought out of a pair of mandible claws, which is one of The Fiend’s finishing maneuvers. Bill Goldberg didn’t eat a Sister Abigail, for what that’s worth.

How much of an emphasis Kairi Sane gets for having a pirate gimmick remains to be seen, but get ready to see a million hours of WWE action as we get a Hall of Fame ceremony, an Nxt TakeOver, an incredibly lengthy PPV, and the next night’s Raw.
Thank God SmackDown is on Fridays now.

John Cena's days in the WWE ring could be numbered ... with the superstar admitting he's been recently giving serious thought about hanging up his trunks for good. The Undertaker is 54-years-old. Bill Goldberg is 52. So naturally, the two young wrestlers main-evented “WWE Super Showdown” in Saudi Arabia on Friday.
You can probably see where this is going. The Jeddah event’s final match was an absolute disaster filled with botched moves — some of which could have caused serious injury to the two legends.
But don’t take our word for how bad the highly touted first-time-ever bout was — the WWE Universe on Twitter is already calling Goldberg-Undertaker “the worst match of the year,” among other very un-superlative superlatives.

Daniel Bryan not only had to defend his WWE Championship against Kevin Owens, but a surprise challenger!
Well, WrestleMania is almost here! Unfortunately, before we can see what’s what that card is going to mostly look like, we have to drive through WWE Fastlane 2019. Fastlane started back in 2015 as the last major stop before WrestleMania with a main event tricking you into thinking that Roman Reigns might not main event WrestleMania 31. That was followed with a Fastlane main event that tricked you into thinking that Roman Reigns might not main event WrestleMania 32. The one that followed had Bill Goldberg beat Kevin Owens in a nonsense match meant to move the Universal Championship into a different feud. Then there was last year’s event which...man, I just looked at the results and it’s the most forgettable show in recent memory. Wow.

There was a thought-provoking case, and Anna went away on NCIS: Los Angeles Season 10 Episode 7.
The theme was "There but for the grace of God," with no good feeling at the end.
The approach wasn't at all subtle, but it worked.
The case of the week was one of the borderline cases. An arms dealer, who got praised as a good man by his girlfriend, was killed soon after arriving in Los Angeles. After a cursory investigation, it was determined that the killer had had special-forces training.
Ok, that's a reason for the Osp to get involved. The trouble was they were already well underway.

No one really expected Bill Goldberg to return to the WWE when he did two years ago. However, not only did Goldberg return to the WWE but he beat Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship in a very quick match and then held the title all the way until WrestleMania 33. After that, Goldberg came out on Monday Night Raw the next night, thanked the fans, and went back home. It was a great return and […]

Throughout the course of its four seasons, The Flash has had some memorable actors stop by to play guest villains. Of course, very few are capable of eclipsing Mark Hamill’s Trickster, especially when you consider the geek cred that guy has racked up over the decades having played icons like Luke Skywalker and the Joker.
To my amazement, Derek Mears’ involvement with the series has flown under the radar, something I find to be rather perplexing. If his name sounds familiar to you, it should, because his long resume is quite impressive. Having played Jason Voorhees in 2009’s Friday the 13th remake and one of the titular creatures in 2010’s Predators, it stands to reason that his inclusion should turn more than a few heads.

Team Flash are about to take a page out of their good pal Ray Palmer/The Atom’s book in the next episode of The Flash when they’re shrunk by the metahuman-of-the-week.
Following on from the previous installment, Barry Allen has asked his friends to try and clear the name of his new pal Big Sir/Dave (Bill Goldberg). As they investigate, Cisco, Ralph and Joe come across Sylbert Rundin (Derek Mars), a supervillain known as Dwarfstar in the comics, who leaves them at a fraction of their size. Obviously, we’ll have to wait for the episode itself to see this effect in action, but the photo showing Joe looking at the ground seems to depict the moment they’re shrunk.

He’s been rocking a pretty ugly light blue spandex suit for most of the season so far, but it’s finally time for Ralph Dibny to get a proper superhero outfit in next week’s episode of The Flash.
DC comics fans will know that Ralph typically wears a purple, black and white skin-tight outfit on the page and, while that look hasn’t been recreated on screen, Dibny’s new duds – seen in the gallery below – evoke the character’s classic look as best as they can while still fitting in with the overall Arrowverse aesthetic. For instance, the purple has been switched for a more muted maroon colour scheme and the addition of the goggles are a nice touch, as a way for Ralph to keep his identity a secret.

Which TV episode or film do you have a date with every December? We asked our writers to share their Xmas viewing traditions…
Push through all the shopping and boozing and tinselly over-indulgence, and deep down, everybody knows the true meaning of Christmas.
It's television.
Our viewing traditions are what makes Christmas special. For you, that might mean chortling your way through whatever festive tyre-fire is playing out on Albert Square, or rewatching for the millionth time that snowy episode of Buffy where Sarah Michelle-Gellar had her fringe cut weirdly short.
Perhaps you and yours never miss It’s A Wonderful Life. Maybe you set record for the You’ve Been Framed Santa Special (nothing feels more festive than a solid hour of cats destroying Christmas trees). Whatever it is, it’s yours, to enjoy solo or with loved ones, and it means Christmas has arrived.
