- He is the son of Constance Jean (Kellerman), who was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, and Hugh Henry Foley. His mother died when he was 15 years old, which changed his relationship with his father. He has two younger brothers, including Sean Foley. He is of Irish, as well as Scottish, English, German, and one eighth Portuguese, descent. He graduated from Clayton High School in Clayton, Missouri, a suburb of St. Louis.
