Bruce Woloshyn joined Method Studios in 2010. During his career,
Woloshyn has been the Visual Effects Supervisor on a variety episodic
television series, broadcast commercials and an impressive list of
feature films. Some of his most recent film credits include San Andreas (2015),RoboCop (2014),Metallica Through the Never (2013),RED 2 (2013),G.I. Joe: Retaliation (2013),The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 (2012) and Man on a Ledge (2012). Woloshyn has received numerous awards for
his work, including five Primetime Emmy Award nominations for
Outstanding Achievement in Visual Effects, two Visual Effects Society
Award nominations, and eight Gemini Award nominations; including a win
in 2005 for Best Visual Effects for a television Series. Woloshyn is a
voting member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, the
Visual Effects Society, and the Academy of Canadian Film and
Television. Woloshyn's interest in the visual effects industry began as
a child when he experimented with miniatures filmed on Super-8 mm film
and continued in high school where he would shoot and edit reel-to-reel
black and white videotape. Woloshyn graduated with Honors from the
Radio and Television Arts program at the Northern Alberta Institute of
Technology (NAIT), in Edmonton, Canada. In 2012, Bruce was named one of
NAIT's top 50 all time alumni.
