Larissa LaRenne is an American actress, screenwriter, playwright, and director.
Born in New York City, NY, and drawn to the stage from an early age, Larissa spent childhood summers studying musical theater and mime at Cornell University and Shakespeare and Meisner technique at the Governor's School for the Arts. She attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in NYC while cutting her teeth in commercials, indie film, and television.
After relocating to Los Angeles, she earned an Associate of Arts degree in Cinema Production, graduating summa cum laude from Los Angeles City College, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theater from UCLA, graduating with highest honors: summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa. She served as President of UCLA's Mortar Board National Honor Society and received the Chancellor's Service Award.
Under the tutelage of veteran Los Angeles acting coaches, including Catlin Adams, Diana Castle, Ellen Gerstein, and John Homa, Larissa earned television roles on "E.R.," "Undressed," "City Guys," and "Commander in Chief."
