Here are each movie in chronological order. Starting with “The Nun”. Set in 1952, explores the origins of the Demon Valak with the sharpe as a nun. A character first introduced in “The Conjuring 2” As the Demon that haunt Lorraine Warren.

Set in 1955, serves as a prequel to “Annabelle” explaining the creation of the haunted doll.
Twelve years after the tragic death of their little girl, a doll-maker and his wife welcome a nun and several girls from a shuttered orphanage into their home, where they become the target of the doll-maker's possessed creation, Annabelle.

Set in 1956 - France. A priest is murdered. The sequel follows Sister Irene as she once again comes face-to-face with the demon Valak, that has taking the sharpe as a nun.

In 1970, a mother purchased an antique Raggedy Ann Doll from a hobby store. The doll had been a birthday present for her daughter, Donna. Donna was a preparing to graduate from college with a nursing degree. She lived in a tiny apartment with her room mate, Angie. (a nurse as Pleased with the cute raggedy-Ann doll, Donna placed it on her bed as a decoration and didn’t give it a second thought. Within days both Donna and Angie noticed that there appeared to be something very strange and creepy about the doll. The doll mysteriously seemed to move about the house, relatively small movements at first, such as a change in position, but as time passed the movement became more noticeable.
Not knowing where to turn they contacted a medium and a seance was held. Donna was then introduced to the spirit of Annabelle Higgins. She was a young girl of only seven years old when her lifeless body was found in the field upon which the apartment complex now stands.

The spirit related to the medium that she felt comfort with Donna and Angie and wanted to stay with them and be loved. Feeling compassion for Annabell and her story Donna gave her permission to inhibit the doll and stay with them.
Shortly after their home is invaded by satanic cultists. Donna finally was willing to believe the spirit in the house was not that of a young girl but inhuman and demonic in nature.
Annabelle was moved from there after Donna came in contact with The paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren. The couple
came to the immediate conclusion that the doll itself was not in fact possessed but manipulated by an inhuman presence. Spirits do not Possess inanimate objects like houses or toys, they posses people. An inhuman spirit can attach itself to a place or object and this is what occurred in the Annabelle case. This spirit manipulated the doll and created the illusion of it being alive in order to get recognition.
The couple decided to take Annabelle with them home.

In January 1971, Carolyn and Roger Perron and their five daughters move into a 14-room farmhouse near Harrisville, Rhode Island, and soon strange things start happening around it with escalating terror. Carolyn allegedly researched the history of the home and discovered that it had been in the same family for eight generations and that many of them had died under mysterious or horrible circumstances. Several of the children had drowned in a nearby creek, one was murdered, and a few of them hanged themselves in the attic. One spirit Bathsheba, was the worst of them all.
It turns out there was actually a real person named Bathsheba Sherman who lived on the Perrons property in the mid-1800s. She was rumored to have been a Satanist, and there was evidence that she had been involved in the death of a neighbor’s child.
In desperation, Carolyn contacts the noted paranormal investigators, Ed and Lorraine Warren, to examine the house. What the Warrens discover is a whole area steeped in a satanic haunting that is now targeting the Perron family wherever they go. Over the ten years that the family lived in the house, the Warrens made multiple trips to investigate. At one point, Lorraine conducted a seance to attempt to contact the spirits that were possessing the family. During the seance, Carolyn Perron became possessed, speaking in tongues and rising from the ground in her chair.
Andrea claims to have secretly witnessed the seance. Though the movie version of events culminates with Ed performing an exorcism rather than a seance, Lorraine insists that she and her husband would never attempt one, as they must be performed by Catholic priests.
After the seance, Roger kicked the Warrens out, worried about his wife’s mental stability. According to Andrea, the family continued to live in the house due to financial instability until they were able to move in 1980, at which point the spirits were silenced, and the hauntings ceased.

While babysitting the daughter of Ed and Lorraine Warren, a teenager and her friend unknowingly awaken an evil spirit trapped in the doll. Ed and Lorraine Warren took her and housed her in what would become their occult museum you can visit. She still exists even today and a priest comes and bless Annabelle and everything from their else that you can see at the museum. I think he comes every day but I am not sure. Annabelle is behind secure glas and a special box that is blessed. Lorraine refused to look at her and into her eyes.

The story begins with Peggy Hodgson, a single mum, who lived alone with her four children.
Margaret, 12, Janet, 11, Johnny, ten, and Billy, seven lived happily for years at 284 Green Street, Enfield.
That was until August 30, 1977. Middle-daughter Janet complained her bed as shaking in the middle of the night, and mother Peggy went to check. From here, the family realized that what was happening to them might have more to do with the paranormal.
