This show rules. Vanessa Bayer and Molly Shannon have the cutest chemistry, every supporting actor is perfect in their role, the whole theme of the show is purposeful cringe but the writers don't overdo it and the actors take it just exactly far enough. It's so good.
The costume designers nail everyone's look too. So gaudy but again not overdone, just accurate.
You have to appreciate the satire they're going for, and probably won't appreciate it if you don't. They're mocking the super uncomfortable vapidness of this d-list celebrity subculture, but they're pretty grounded with it so it's not painfully obvious and wacky mockery.
And despite mocking these kinds of people, they still portray them as sweet, hurt, complex, vulnerable and striving - they're awful but so likable.
Definitely not for everyone but if you understand/love/hate everything about why home shopping networks are kind of fascinating - you'll probably love this.
