In an interview, stars Mishel Prada and Melissa Barrera talked about being naked and filming the sex scenes. "We would do a rehearsal and then it was all very clear. Like, okay, like half a butt cheek, side boob, full boob, whatever," said Prada. "Sometimes things change on set, but I know for me, it was always my choice. In a lot of ways, it was very mechanical process for me at least." Barrera said, "For me, it was very hard to come to terms with the fact that I was going to have to do nudity because it was the first time I'd had to do that. It was hard. It really is harder than you think. It might not be hard for some people, but that's why it's so important to just respect everyone...I never thought that I was going to do nudity in my life, and then this show came along and it was required to do nudity. To go in to audition, on the breakdown it said, 'Full nudity required. Obviously, we don't go full nude in the show. Some men go full nude and some of the actors who are guest stars do full nudity. We talked about it, and I told [creator] Tanya [Saracho] that I was going to do it, but I didn't want to go full frontal. So she respected that. Because it's a lot. Just going, like top nude, for me, it was like a process." When asked about exposing their butts, they both admitted it was no big deal because they didn't consider that "nudity." "I honestly think the reason is because like everyone has an ass and it all looks the same. Everyone's ass looks the same," Barrera said. "I feel women and men who don't want to go like full frontal is because that feels like something that's very 'mine.' The men sometimes don't want to show their penis because it's something that's very private."
