Joan of Arc was a strong willed, humble peasant girl who had strong faith in God which allowed her to believe wholeheartedly in the missions she was to carry out. Tragically she was backstabbed by the crooked politics and the habitually self serving, power hungry Catholic church.
This documentary does a good job telling her story but doesn't go as deep as Daniele Bolelli's "History on Fire" podcast where he showcases her powerful words towards the British and her accusers.
Her story is strongly resembles that of Jesus Christ IMO as they where driven by a higher power and faced accusations of being heretics by the church/Synagogue and were put to death on those grounds.
