Of the soft erotic genre (sexy movies as Vivamax calls them) we have headliners Apple Dy and Skye Gonzaga. While most all of the Vivamax actresses are attractive, Apple and Skye are top echelon. This film is all about showcasing them. Apple plays Kat, a club DJ who has had bad experiences with men and has sworn off them. Skye plays Denise, a sexually adventurous pansexual.
Kat and Denise have several intimate scenes with excellenct camera work and lighting. Denise also has a couple of intimate scenes with Ace, played by Calvin Reyes. These scenes also have excellent camerawork and lighting.
The phone-to-TV casting image quality is excellent. I subscribe to Vivamax through the app downloaded from Googleplay, and I cast from my phone to my bigscreen.
On the downside, the script is poorly written, giving the actors and actresses very little to work with. Both Apple and Skye have done decent acting performances when given better material. I understand Vivamax is cranking out one or two new shows every week so the scriptwriting talent might be stretched thin, but this is bottom tier writing for Vivamax.
Vivamax has done so much better, such as with Stalker. Stalker is funny, suspenseful, has great acting, a well-written script, with great directing. And hot AF. No doubt, it also had a bigger budget.
The IMDB tech specs say the runtime for Baligtaran is 2 hours, but it's only 1 hour.
Supporting actors Trish Garden and AJ Oteyza have one intimate scene at the beginning of the film.
