Hello My Beautiful Creatures

This is my first ever iMDB review I'm writing out, and I'm mainly doing it in the hopes that Joel or Eric read this. Joel, I've been a fan of yours for years, and you are one of my favorite filmmakers and a huge inspiration as an independent filmmaker myself. Eric, as a fellow Minnesota-based creator, I cannot overstate how proud I am that you are one of us.

This film is probably the best I have seen in this calendar year; a film utterly seeped in storytelling and the language of cinema. Amarcord into Dr. Strangelove with a good amount of Animal Farm and Man Bites Dog to boot. The Fellini allusion is intentional, as I'm sure any viewer of the film can attest. A staggering triumph of the medium, both film and stop-motion, and to think that it was one of twelve films made in a calendar year? Films like this are a special thing; everyone involved deserves every accolade leveled in your direction, and I hope that this film is seen around the world millions of times over. Bravo Vince.
