Cinematography / Animation
For the most part, the animation was good. There were certain fight scenes where I think the animation could have been better. But it did not draw me away from watching the entire anime.
Editing
This reminds me of another anime that I do not recall. But it had the same premise. The MC saved the world, and it was reset and had "lost." Anyway... this story progresses how it should, usually going from one fight to the next fight. There is almost no down time unless they are discussing the next fight. Even when traveling from place to place, they encounter a fight... so there's hardly anytime between fights. Nonetheless the continuation of the sequence from fight to fight is good and makes sense. The story is not just "everywhere" and hard to follow.
Mise en Scene
In this anime, you kind of HAVE TO pay attention to what's going on around you. You can't just be oblivious and watch the MC. In the blink of an eye everything can change pretty quickly. The sky, the buildings, the ground. A city could be turned upside down... you have to literally keep looking at what's happening in the scene. They do a great job making it easy to follow this.
Performance
I really enjoyed the performance of Kana Ichinose (Rinne). Rinne experience such a range of emotions in this anime, and to be able to hit each emotion every time just in one episode is fantastic. I really enjoyed the portrayal of fear within the character though. It made me believe the character was truly fearful of certain situations.
Sound
The sound design was good, especially in moments where they were leading up to a fight scene. Usually it was: discover a clue or abnormality, music starts, fight scene.
Overall I enjoyed the anime. It had a good story line and the animation was pretty good as well. I enjoyed certain fight scenes when it came to the animation, but the sound design was great all throughout.
