The role of 'Miti' (played by Deepa Khandakar) was first offered to noted actress Suborna Mustafa, who declined the role citing people will be looking for 'Ghuddi' in her character, referencing her famous earlier collaboration with director Syed Salahuddin Zaki in the critically acclaimed film Ghuddi (1980).
