"How I Met Her Mother":
Honestly, I don't know why I went to see this movie (although I know why, or rather who), but overall it was still watchable!
"How I Met Her Mother" is a normal comedy with a Caucasian flavor!
The first 35-40 minutes of the film were kind of boring, sleepy and not funny, because of them I wanted to give the film 5 out of 10, but surprisingly the last 40-45 minutes are the best thing in this film! They are interesting, not sleepy, and most importantly funny! I laughed out loud at the joke-reference to "Black Panther", and at the scene when Shchukina's heroine broke the nose of a 100-year-old grandmother, I just screamed out loud! Well, the plot of the film is simple and in some moments even cliched! I repeat that the last 40-45 minutes are the best thing there is!
The cast is not bad! From the cast, I would like to mention Natalia Shchukina, Grant Tokhatyan and Mamuka Patarava. In addition to them, I will also mention Ararat Keshchyan (for his sake I went to this film).
Jokes aside, when Ararat Keshchyan appeared, I began to quietly applaud (how good that besides my mother, there was only one dude of 12-13 years old in the audience). Also, I would like to mention Dmitry Krasilov (Pukhlyash), unfortunately this is his penultimate role in a movie (his last film will be released in June, "Bar MoskvaChiki"), because Dmitry died last year! (Honestly, I went to see this film also because of Krasilov, unlike "Wild" (he had a small role there), here it was maybe not the main one, but the role and here he had a little more screen time than in "Wild"! Dmitry coped with his role, and he pulled the film out with his presence!
The soundtrack was... Not bad! That's all I can say about it! Well, and I will also note the beautiful views of the Caucasus.
In the end, "How I Met Her Mother" is a normal comedy for one time, it is simple, cliched, in some moments even cringeworthy, but watchable!
And because it is watchable, I will give it a still a VERY weak 7 out of 10, and only because of the screaming (or almost screaming) jokes in the last 45 minutes! Would I recommend this movie to you? A very difficult question! If you like the poster, trailer and summary, then yes, then watch it! Well, if not, then you can pass by, because in the end you will not lose anything!)
