Pilot episode review: I have been a fan of Jim Jefferies for many years. His stand-up comedy is mix of crudeness, vulgarity and pure brilliance. If that doesn't sound like your cup of tea, then there is no point even bothering to check out this series. "Legit" is a show similar to Louis C.K's "Louie", but it's not quite the same since Louie episodes are made up with different sketches. Jim Jefferies plays himself and the story of the pilot is taken from one of his older stand-up routines where he helps his friend's disabled and dying brother get laid at a whorehouse. The dialogue and situations that occur are both funny and well acted, and it is quite moving in it's own strange way. If the rest of the episodes keep up the same quality I think it will be a hit series for us who enjoy dark comedy.
