Having watched TTD's other films, I must say that this one is also under the impact of surrealism. Film is short, so I will keep my review short. I appreciate TTD's attempts especially due to the fact that surrealist cinema in Turkey is on an inchoate stage. Thus, his references mainly hinge on the films produced by the fathers of this genre. It is my view, yet I think it can be better if he tries to intertwine some cultural aspects pertaining his country lest his films seem too much Svankmajerian. The film has a fantastic atmosphere, it is in nowhere. The combination of the colors are also effective. I do not want to analyze the movie through the psychoanalytical insights here, because they are so explicit. This is why I gave 7/10 points. Also, the dinner scene in particular reminds me Svankmajer's similar scenes. Hence, unfortunately even though the idea is good, it is not authentic unlike TTD's other films.
