Out of all the mindless drivel and unoriginal, predictable plots that the average television viewer is bombarded with on a daily basis, it is remarkably refreshing to find an instant classic such as this.
Kenny Hotz, of Testees and Kenny VS Spenny fame, is back in this new television spectacle. Fans of KVS are no strangers to the often crass and rude jokes and pranks of Mr. Hotz, but it is safe to say that he has grown up quite a lot.
The show pits Kenny, the star of the show, against several challenges set by himself. Though the odds are always against him, he usually ends up triumphing. For example, in one episode, he attempts to find his elderly mother love, and in another he tries to build a Jewish-funded mosque.
Kenny Hotz, though obviously more mature, still has a lot of energy and joking around left in him. He often shows another side of himself not often portrayed in Kenny VS Spenny, but will change it around and surprise you with that good old Hotz humour. The show is always fresh and interesting, and as a huge fan of Kenny VS Spenny, it is wonderful and fascinating to learn more about who he is.
Fans of Kenny Vs Spenny may be disappointed, as there is much less toilet and frat boy type humour, but I hope that the show will attract many fans, new and old, to experience the charm that the program has to offer.
This show is not for everyone, but I think that it should be given a chance, as it may surprise fans of Kenny Hotz, and even those who are not so fond of him. Overall, it is a fresh, funny, interesting show, and I highly recommend it. It gets a perfect score from me.
