La Pazza Storia del Mondo: Parte II

From all the segments promised at the end of La pazza storia del mondo (1981), only the segment "A Viking Funeral" is not included at all in this sequel. In La Pazza Storia del Mondo: Parte II (2023), "Hitler on Ice" is featured at the start of the first episode and "Jews in Space" is featured at the end of the eighth episode.

In the Civil War segments, Ulysses Grant and Robert Todd Lincoln go to West Virginia, which is depicted as enemy territory and strictly Confederate. In reality, West Virginia represents 50 counties that chose to leave Virginia in order to stay with the Union. While technically the last slave state added to the Union, it did so with the provision that it would abolish slavery and did so within 18 months. Most of the state was solidly Union. While some of the eastern counties were mixed, the Confederacy were never able to threaten the Union's hold on the state. Grant and Lincoln certainly wouldn't be scared to go there nor would there be a Confederate flag so brazenly hung up in a saloon.
