Göta kanal - Vinna eller försvinna

This is the 4th part of a series of swedish movies about a boatrace along the swedish boatchannel "Göta kanal" starting with the original film "Göta Kanal" in the early 1980:s. It was a great comercial success and was a rather amusing and harmless film that captured that time of folkly swedish humor and hade some of the greatest swedish actors in the cast. It still runs frequently on swedish tv. Then some 30 years later there was a poor sequel and shortly thereafter followed by a third one, even porer!

Now there is thus fouth one and it is an absoute stinker of a movie that went dircectly to swedish cable-tv without no stop att the cinemas. And theres no wonder why because it is a hurtfully bad one. The intrigue is simple just like in the previous ones but all charm from those movies, espesially the fist one, just doesnt exist. The actors are mostly unknown exept the lead actress and the dude playing her husband who are fairly known in sweden. The rest of the cast seem to be mostly just unknown and the actingabillity is of the lowest quallity i've ever seen. Seems they just been handed the script and reading their lines out load without any direction at all. For being a comedy the jokes are on such a low level it all falls flat and mostly you feel akward because although the humor are supposed to mainly be familyfriendly theres no edge and even for the youngest ones in the family it is to blend and beige so as as viewer you start looking around for any reaction at all from your fellow viewers and start questioning "is this supposed to be funny?" It is not! This is unfunny even on paper and you might start to wonder how in the hell the cast and productioncrew along the way didnt ask them self..."shouldn't we just call it a day and end this travesti of utter garbage before it hits the public eye?

I hope they got well paid because this isnt looking good in anyones resume. Especially if you want to keep on getting hired in the bussieness again.
